Rene K is a luxury Made to Measure brand specialising in show-stopping bridal and occasion wear. We’re redefining the bridal world with figure-sculpting fits and modern designs for the carefree, contemporary bride. Offering a glamorous alternative to traditional bridesmaids’ dresses, we’re known for our signature fishtail silhouettes, smoothing scuba lining, delicate drape details, and soft cowl features. You’ll spot Rene K designs gracing UK TV stars, from red carpet events to magazine covers. We believe in slow, conscious fashion – every piece of RK is meticulously designed, crafted to your measurements and handmade with love in our Lancashire based studio and showroom.

OUR BEGINNINGS
Rene K was founded by owner and designer Carrie-Ann Kay whilst at university in the early 2000s. Frustrated by the lack of well-fitting clothes for her curvaceous body type in the infamous era of ‘heroin chic’, and spotting a gap in the market for modern made-to-measure pieces, Rene K was born.
With contemporary designs inspired by the female shape, curate-your-own custom options and patterns cut to your exact measurements, Rene K is tailored for the empowered woman.
With the onset of social media and Instagram Rene K became the dressmaker for reality TV stars, and it wasn’t long until we ventured into bridal with our first celebrity wedding. We have now established ourselves as a quality handmade brand with modern designs for all your biggest events, from wedding aisle to red carpet.

To empower every woman who wears RK to feel her most confident and beautiful. So many women don’t fit into the box of standard sizing – who aren’t a perfectly proportioned size 8 – who don’t fit the mould.
We’re here to make Made to Measure bespoke tailoring more accessible, so every woman can feel the joy of a perfectly fitting dress, crafted to her exact measurements. We make dresses to fit you –Â not the other way around.

Carrie-Ann
Owner & Designer
Carrie-Ann is the owner, designer, creator and driving force behind Rene K. She spends her time sewing in the studio, designing and shooting new collections and managing the RK social media. With 20+ years of expertise and a personable down to earth approach, she’s the perfect host for our private studio appointments.
Nina
Marketing & E-Commerce
Nina joined us mid-pandemic in 2020 and has since taken on the role of Marketing Manager. She’s an RK expert first, and a marketing whizz second. Managing campaigns across platforms to bring you the best offers and the most up to date information. She’s responsible for what you see here!
