Awe-inspiring Alexandra looked ethereal in her custom wedding dress. She attended an in-person fitting with owner and designer Carrie-Ann, tweaking existing styles and adding features until we brought her dream design to life. She opted for the Cliona with long sleeves, a low plunge back with extra volume in a bridal cowl and a fishtail hem with a 12” train and extra long bridal tail in Off White soft touch.
“I have always pictured myself wearing something in this style. I wanted long sleeves due to it being a winter wedding and having just had a baby in August I felt the waistband would be more forgiving. I have never been keen on fussy designs and so the “business at the front and party at the back”, as Carrie put it, design really suited my own style and the kind of wedding I had. I loved attending the studio and meeting Carrie, I really felt listened to and confident that what I wanted to achieve could easily be a reality. Having received my dress initially there were a few tweaks needed to the size and the style, which given this was a new design we came up with in half an hour, I wholly expected this would be the case and straight away the team were responding to my emails and organising this being sorted for me.”
We usually recommend multiple in-person appointments for bespoke wedding designs, but as a more last minute order there were a couple of minor alterations that we were able to resolve quickly & easily. We’re so happy with the end result as this style was utterly gorgeous and suited the bride to a T.
