Made to Measure

We recommend booking large Made to Measure and Bridal orders around 3-5 months in advance to ensure we have availability. Our busiest time of year is March – August. Once an order has been placed we secure the sewing slot; this is when we actually cut & make the order. Then an approximate delivery date will be assigned which is usually 1-2 weeks prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed, this can be subject to change during busy periods. We can take final measurements anytime up until 7-10 days prior to the delivery date to allow as long as possible for weight loss or growing baby bumps.

Made to Measure orders are made to each individual customers’ exact measurements, therefore they are non-refundable, and we cannot accept returns. Please be certain on the design and fabric choice and ensure all measurements are accurate.

We cannot be held responsible if your measurements have changed or have been taken incorrectly. Should your measurements be due to change, please choose ‘Not taken yet’ for each measurement when imputing your order and advise in the comment section when you will be providing them. Final measurements are required at least 7-10 days prior to the delivery date.

Fabric Help

Please bare in mind that some designs are only available in certain fabrics and colours due to the style. Please check the fabric samples description area here for a complete breakdown of each fabric type we use.

Scuba lining comes as standard with most Made to Measure dresses, please check individual product description for lining details. The A-line extra gathers and Panelled hem options cannot be lined in Scuba as they require a soft draping fabric.

We strongly recommend purchasing fabric samples prior to ordering a Made to Measure item as we cannot be held responsible for colour differences caused by computer screens, nor can we be held responsible for slight batch differences caused by suppliers.

Wash care instructions:

  • For best results we recommend dry cleaning all our garments
  • If dry cleaning is not possible, we’d recommend a cold hand wash
  • Some fabrics may contain high quantities of dye, ensure washed separately for the first wash
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry
Delivery

For UK shipping we use Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For insured up to £50 delivery which starts from £3 and depends on the weight of your order. It is usually £5 up to 2kg/1-2 dresses and can take 2 – 3 working days from dispatch. We will provide tracking details once it is ready to dispatch. If your UK order is over £100, your will receive this delivery option for free at checkout.

We also offer Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day insured up to £500 delivery which starts from £10 for up to 1kg, stretching to £20 for up to 20kg. This option is guaranteed to be delivered the following day by 1pm from the date of dispatch. We always recommend this option in order to insure your order for the fullest amount.

For larger orders we may also use a UK courier, typically DPD or APC. The delivery aim is 1 – 2 days from dispatch and you will receive tracking details.

Republic of Ireland is £12 up to 1kg/1 dress and can take 3 – 5 working days from dispatch.

International shipping is usually £20 approx. up to 1kg/1 dress depending on the location and can take 7 – 14 working days from ordering.

All items are sent tracked & signed for with tracking details available for all postage options. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage during postage. All timescales are a guidelines only and may be affected by exceptionally busy periods such as Christmas.

Returns

As a small independent business, we do not currently offer free returns. We accept returns on Ready to Wear items or items that may have incurred a manufacturing default if they are unworn and with tags, we ask that they are sent via Tracked or Signed For delivery as we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of items in the post.

Eligible orders that are considered for returns must be in the original sale condition: unworn, unwashed, free of marks or snags and with the original tags intact and attached. If you deem your item to be applicable for a return or an exchange, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it. Please note that returning packages need prior approval from our Customer Service team via email and must be delivered to us within 30 days of the customer receiving it.

If we find that the merchandise is not defective in any way or has been misused/damaged/altered in your own care or has been received after 30 days then the merchandise will be shipped back to you. Any authorised refunds will be minus the delivery cost.

We do not offer returns or refunds on our Made to Measure items due to the nature of the product; as they are made for each individual customer to their exact and unique measurements. Before placing your order, please ensure you are 100% certain on the fabric choice, colour, and style. Please ensure all measurements given are accurate and are not due to change, we cannot be held responsible if incorrect measurements have been given. If intending to provide updated measurements, these need to be provided within 2 weeks of the delivery date and must be confirmed with our Customer Service team via email. We do not offer returns or refunds on any Swimwear or Sale items.
